Siu Suk Man
I like drawing since I was a child. I’d learnt sketching at a private art studio for three years when I was young. Most of my works were black and white sketching.
In 2003, I joined the Culture Corner Art Academy Ltd, which was founded by Gaylord Chan and Josephine Chow, to further explore the art world. At that time, I discovered that I was fond of and had special sense to colors. Under the guidance and inspiration of my teachers, I’ve started a new journey based on colors, trying to use colors to create a strong atmosphere and express my feelings, thoughts, and religious experiences. I enjoy interacting with colors and have fun during the process! Now, my works have shifted towards personalized and abstract. Yet, I still hope to inspire and connect with others through my works.
From realistic to abstract, from black-and-white to color, from copying to creation, drawing has become my medium to record my personal growth.
