1984  studied watercolour in Lian Hoi Art college and learned seal engraving from Mr. Huang Peng Shaun

1985  member of Hong Kong Art Club, was once a committee member of HKAA

1993 studied acrylic painting with Mr. Gaylord Chan as mentor

​

1995 as a member of Artmatch Group, has joined Annual Exhibition and Art-On-Wheel Programs to promote local art since then

2008-2011
- as the Chair person of Artmatch Group 
- The finalist of Caran d’Ache painting competition and 1999 Hong Kong Visual Art Festival
- Works are showed in both local and overseas venues
 

2015 Shaping Form and Styling Colour —Thirty years’ art journey of Chan Kwan Ngok,
solo exhibition in Hong Kong Educational Institute
