Introduction to the 25th Anniversary Exhibition of the Artmatch Group:
The Artmatch Group was established in 1995, under the initiative of the Hong Kong renowned contemporary artist, Mr. Gaylord Chan, and his fellow students. It provides a platform for members’ creative energy to thrive and excel. The Group has organized annual exhibitions uninterruptedly since its establishment. To commemorate the 25th anniversary, the Group holds the annual exhibition in duet, firstly with an online exhibition starting from 8 November to 2 December 2020 for 25 days, and then followed by another 25 days of physical exhibition at the Gallery of the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts at the Education University of Hong Kong, Tai Po, lasting from 3 to 27 December 2020.

Idea
‘The 15 Words Verse’
The title of the exhibition is ’The 15-Word Motto’ which is the wisdom borrowed from our beloved master, Mr. Gaylord Chan, who wisely condensed the formal qualities of a piece of art in such a short phrase, being sharp and crispy. The Artmatch Group proudly presents the works of 16 members who have been endeavoring to produce fine pieces of works to share with you. So, please enjoy the show!
